EMILY & CHARLIE
New Orleans Wedding At The Cabildo and Galeriè de Galatoire
Emily & Charlie had a fun destination wedding in New Orleans. The full weekend experience was planned and designed by Iris & Oak Events and captured alongside their photographer Creel & Co.
With Charlie’s family traveling from Florida, and Emily’s family from California, New Orleans was the perfect destination for the two families to join together to affirm their love and marriage. The weekend celebration began the day before with a rehearsal dinner and welcome party at the Chicory.
The following day, Emily and her friends began getting ready at the historic Sulley Mansion. After getting ready and a sweet first look moment between Emily & Charlie, everyone traveled to the the Cabildo located in heart of the New Orleans French Quarter for the ceremony.
The Ceremony was officiated by a long time friend of Charlie & Emiliy and
highlighted by a bespoke poem written and read for them by Charlie’s sister, and personal vows exchanged by the couple. After the ceremony, they had a mini cocktail hour downstairs before commencing a sword arch exit and then celebrating in style down the streets of New Orleans with a fun second line parade!
Their reception was held at the Galerie de Galatoire and featured a performance by the New Orleans famous Phunkey Monkeys Band, cookies and ice cream served for the guest, a beautifully choreographed first dance, and a custom live wedding painting by Denise Hopkins Fine Art. It was truly a night to remember and I am honored for the opportunity to have captured their beautiful weekend celebration!
