FAQs

How many wedding videographers will film my wedding?
When you book with us you will get Andrew Benton as your lead filmmaker along with a 2nd professionally trained wedding filmmaker. We believe this is important since we like to make sure we can capture both bride and groom prep, and also get multiple angles for all of the big moments that will happen throughout the day.
When should I hire my videographer?
Depending on your date (popular dates go very quickly) we recommend hiring your videographer 14-10 months before your wedding date. The earlier you can reserve your date, the better chance you will have to be sure you can have us be there. Of course if you aren’t having a long engagement, don’t be scared to reach out, we might still have your date available!
How can I reserve my date?
Because we book a limited number of weddings per year we like to get to know you via a quick phone call, to make sure we are a good fit for your videography needs. Once we have determined that we would be a good fit we can send you a quote with some options to choose from based on what you are looking for. To reserve you can simply accept the quote, read and sign the attached contract, and then put down a 25% deposit.
Can we meet to talk about my vision for my wedding film?
Absolutely! We love meeting up to get to know you better and hear about all of your ideas! Storytelling is a huge part of what we do so the more we can get to know you, the better we can tell that story and create something that is uniquely you.
Do you offer the full-length Ceremony or Reception Edits?
Yes, we have options that include full length edits of both the ceremony and reception events.
How long have you been filming weddings for?
We filmed our first wedding in 2016 and have now have the pleasure of serving over 100 happy couples over the past 4 years!
How do you deliver the finished films?
We deliver your finished films via an online link where you can view & download as well as a nicely packaged USB flash drive which we deliver through the mail.
How do you capture the audio?
We believe that capturing a high quality recording of the special things that are said on your wedding day is just as important as capturing great imagery. We use small Lavalier microphones that we place on the groom and officiant during the ceremony. If you are having a DJ with your ceremony/reception we will also hook up a recorder to their system to get a backup source of audio.
How would you describe your style?
In many ways we like to adapt our style to fit the personalities of each couple. Some are happy care-free or party type, others more serious or sentimental. One thing that is consistent with our style however is our passion for telling authentic stories. We enjoy using bits and pieces of dialogue captured from throughout your wedding day to tell an authentic story of your relationship as well as the love shared between your closest family and friends!
How much time do I need for my wedding day?
Typically we find that most brides need somewhere between 6-10 hours of video coverage for their wedding day with 8 being the most common. During our phone consultation we will walk you through a timeline for your day to see exactly how many hours would work best for you and then build you a custom quote based around that.
Do you Travel?
Heck yes we do! We have a long list of places we would love to travel to film a wedding - Colorado, California, Hawaii, Utah, and Pensacola, and Atlanta, Georgia just to name a few! In fact, we may just be willing to offer a discount for your destination wedding, elopement, or vow renewal at one of these amazing locations so don’t be shy and drop us a line!
How long will it take to receive my finished wedding film?
Depending on when you get married at it can take anywhere from 2-6 months. In 2019 we averaged around 2-3 months.
Do we get to choose the music?
Unfortunately we cannot use the vast majority of mainstream music and anyone who does is doing so illegally and liable to be sued by the people who own the copyrights to those songs. That said, we are able to licence some really beautiful music created by talented artist from around the world and we work really hard to pick a song that will perfectly match your taste in music as well as the vibe of your wedding day!
